About
A studio for the biggest screen in the room.
TVForge exists because television applications are not desktop applications scaled up. Ten-foot viewing distance, a five-button remote and a shared living room change what good looks like. Most idea tools ignore all of that. This one is built entirely around it.
You describe an idea or pick one of ten worked concepts, answer the questions that genuinely affect a television design, and TVForge produces a structured build brief: screens, focus behaviour, platform trade-offs, data model, accessibility requirements, acceptance criteria and image-generation prompts for every asset you will need.
Four kinds of work
Being clear about this matters more than being optimistic about it.
01
UI & prototype
Screens, focus behaviour, rails, states and visual language, built as a web application you can navigate with a keyboard as a D-pad stand-in.
Fully buildable here.
02
Web application components
Companion experiences, QR handoff pages, marketing surfaces and browser-based TV displays.
Fully buildable here.
03
Backend & admin systems
Content management, scheduling, entitlements, analytics and the APIs the TV client consumes.
Fully buildable here.
04
Platform-specific TV implementation
Packaging, store submission, native remote key handling, platform media pipelines and device certification for Tizen, webOS, Android TV, Google TV, Fire TV or tvOS.
Separate specialist work outside this tool.
Platforms TVForge reasons about
Samsung Smart TV (Tizen)
Tizen web container (HTML/CSS/JS)
A web build can form the basis of the application UI, but packaging, key handling and store submission are separate platform-specific work.
LG Smart TV (webOS)
webOS web app container
Pointer plus D-pad dual input is the main design consideration compared with other TV platforms.
Android TV
Android application (native or WebView)
Use a web build for prototyping, admin tooling and companion surfaces; the shipped TV app is usually native.
Google TV
Android TV application with Google TV surfaces
Treat as Android TV plus optional system content integration; confirm integration availability in current Google documentation before promising it.
Amazon Fire TV
Android-based app, or a web app container
Fire TV's web application path makes it one of the friendlier targets for reusing a web UI, subject to current Amazon documentation.
Apple TV (tvOS)
Native tvOS application
A web build cannot be shipped to tvOS as-is. Use the generated work for prototype, design reference, backend and admin, then implement tvOS natively.
Browser-based Smart TV
TV browser, kiosk browser or signage player
The only target where a Lovable-generated web application can realistically be the shipped product.
What TVForge does not do
- It does not publish native applications to Samsung, LG, Google, Amazon or Apple stores. That work is separate and platform-specific.
- It does not claim device compatibility. Nothing generated here has been tested on physical Smart TV hardware, and the guidance is conceptual until you verify it.
- It does not invent platform APIs. Where a capability varies by platform or model year, the brief says so instead of guessing.
- It does not host your content, take payments, or require an account.
